Personality She comes off as cold. She pretty much is. The only person she can really stand is her brother Ariq, and she has a distinct untrustworthiness of strangers. She will do jobs for money, but other than that she pretty much wants nothing to do with society.
History Tika was a woman who travelled from the Earth Republic after getting a transfer for her Police Department to the Yu Dao Police Department to help with the drug war. Zhi Fong was a native Yu Dao Settler who grew up with farmer parents. When he was old enough, he joined the Police Department. The two were partners for a good number of years until one of their co-workers found them fraternizing on the job. They were separated as partners, but kept their relationship intact. Within a year, they were living together, and within the next half a year, they were married. The two were taking it slow, so when Tika got pregnant at 24, they also agreed to never have children after this. However, having children became double the trouble they had predicted. Ariq was born first. A healthy young boy who was born with very very light blonde hair, taking after his dad in looks. Aiyana, just a few minutes after Ariq, was practically identical to him, except for having her mother’s eyes. The two were raised with both their parents being cops. As a result of working on their father’s farm when they were old enough, they were taught to be kind and hardworking and were given a sense of responsibility. Ariq, unlike Aiyana, had shown early signs of bending when he saw a rabaroo get stuck between rocks. Feeling bad for the poor fellow, he had attempted to move one of the rocks. It being too heavy, he had stepped back in irritation and watched in amazement as it raised up on it’s own. Aiyana had come along fast enough to see this when he yelled for her, and, out of excitement, ran inside to tell their parents. Unfortunately, having tried her best, Aiyana never showed any signs of bending. She had given by the time the twins had turned ten. By the time the children were old enough to work, Ariq and Aiyana already knew what their calling was; helping people. Just like their parents. So, they joined the police department at the age 17. They started off slowly at first, being confined to the desk. It took a while for them to stop fucking around long enough to earn a promotion and get their first case as partners. The two did well as partners. The two being best friends helped quite a bit, too. Aiyana was the one who always looked for trouble. This is why she was taken one night, out of the bad part of town, by a small gang. Her parents were freaking out, and her brother even more. They sent numbers against the gang, none able to find any of the gang members. Meanwhile, Aiyana had been systematically abused, raped, and tortured by the gang. It was months before she had actually found the strength to fight back, and even longer to actually escape from the men. The first thing she did was go home. Clean herself up. Sleep. Get herself together. Then she decided to take action. She had quit the police force, having already lost all faith in them when they failed to rescue her. She vowed to find the men responsible for this herself. So she set out, being much more careful than before. Unfortunately, she was not careful enough. The gang leader had learned of her endeavors. He wasn’t interested in getting her back, but rather would send a message to her. They then proceeded to come to her house. They burnt down everything in sight, and killed her parents in cold blood. She was at least lucky that Ariq was working. Together, The two got through The family deaths. It was weeks until the twins had proper jobs again and were able to find an apartment and make ends meet. Aiyana had quit the police force and started working at the local blacksmithing facility, where while tracking down some of the gang members in her spare time with her brother, she continued making new weapons for both of them and trying them out as much as she could. She also sold all of the things she made for profit. The two had constantly went undercover in the gang, planning on getting close and taking them out. They did pretty well the first few months, and within half a year the gang was pretty much reduced to rubble. That is also when they were found out. Once this happened the twins were confronted, and as much as a battle that it was, the twins ended up prevailing. This left the Moon Dragon in complete disarray; What was left of the gang had no leadership. The twins took charge, sort of. They assigned a friend of theirs as the leader of the gang, and kept a close eye on them. Unless something illegal and dangerous was going on, they did not interfere, as part of an agreement. The twins stayed in their positions. As they were close enough to Republic City anyways, Aiyana and Ariq had applied for citizenship so that Aiyana could buy a place there and set up shop as a Private Investigator.
Powers Non-bender Initial Abilities Martial Arts (Passive) The user is adept in basic martial arts, allowing them to stay on par with someone who has focused their training on bending. Weaponry (Passive) The user has trained extensively with the use of classical weapons in order to make up for their deficit when it comes to taking on a bender. Agility Training (Passive) The user has received extensive training in their agility in order to increase their raw physical speed. They would easily exceed any person who relied on their bending. Weight Training (Passive) The user has received extensive training with weights and other forms of exercise in order to increase their raw physical strength. They would easily exceed any person who relied on their bending. Endurance Training (Passive) The user has received extensive training in physical endurance in order to increase the amount of physical energy they have at any given time. They would easily exceed any person who relied on their bending. Basic Abilities (Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed.) First Aid (Passive) The user is knowledgeable in basic medical training using herbs and other medicines to treat minor injuries on themselves and others. (Achieved after 1 week) Chain Hook (Passive) The user is knowledgeable in making and using chain hooks. They can be used for transportation as well as combat. (Achieved after 2 weeks) Weapon Master (Achieved after 1 month) Initial Abilities Smithing and Engineering (Passive) The user is knowledgeable in crafting weapons, armors and even basic machinery made of metal and even basic composite materials. Metal is more durable but heavy and cumbersome while composites are lighter but more vulnerable. Melee Weapon Mastery (Passive) The user has extensively trained with all forms of melee weaponry in order to become a master in the usage of them. As such, the user may use any form of melee weapon to its fullest potential. (This includes things such as: swords, axes, maces, etc) Platinum Forging (Passive; Exclusive to Weapon Master) The user is knowledgeable in forging anything made of platinum. Items are highly resilient and are unable to be metalbent. Not only this, but they are stronger and sharper than regular metals; making them able to cut through, withstand impacts better or break things a normal weapon could not. Platinum weighs just as much as regular metal would. NOTE: Under no circumstances should a character have a weapon, armor or devices made out of platinum without this power. Collapsible Shield (Exclusive to Weapon Master) The user has the knowledge to construct and use collapsible shields attached to the forearms. While normally retracted, the shields extend outwards to provide more protection against incoming attacks. These shields can be made out of a variety of materials to augment their weight and strength. Advanced Abilities (Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed.) Precision Strikes (Passive) The user has trained in order to achieve the ability to be as precise as possible in combat. This ranges from striking chi points to firing arrows from a bow.
