At the far end of Honshi street lies its namesake; Honshi market. As Avatar Kiryi's rebellion swept across the city, the proud factories of Honshi industries found themselves at first abandoned and later ransacked, leaving a hollow shell without purpose, hope, or future. Yet, as always, the lower classes of Republic City found a will and a way, with stalls appearing in the place of machines, soon followed by throngs of shoppers where workers once toiled. Fed by an old industrial canal linking it to Yue bay, any and all manner of goods can be found in Honshi market, from basic commodities and sundries, to items of more questionable origins. It is here that the black market truly thrives beneath a thin veneer of legitimacy, and the whispers of secret deals are obscured by the roar of the crowd and the calls of hawkish vendors.
