Personality: Mitsurugi's first reaction is never to think if something is right or wrong. Instead, he values order. He prefers to have a system to follow, with no exceptions. He has his own moral code, which is that the guilty must be punished – regardless of how. He will go to any length to let this happen, be it falsify evidence or even make deals with some... darker elements. However, he doesn't believe in hurting anyone that he thinks has done no wrong, no does he enjoy hurting people. His devotion to wiping out crime is near fanatical – regardless of the cost to him, he attempts to make sure some punishment is applied to people who break laws.
This attitude is reflected in his fighting style. He goes in, goes hard, until he collapses. He isn't a whirlwind of fury, rather, he bides his time, waits for an opening and strikes. He is driven to learn how to bend metal and is more than stubborn enough to make it happen.
He doesn't feel like like other people do. He is typically void of emotion, calm under any duress. He's also not very outgoing or social, however, he is the type of have a few close friends and be near silent around all others. He wants to become a police officer, in due time, when he is old enough, but if the opportunity arose, he'd jump.
History: Mitsurugi was born in the middle ring of Ba Sing Se. As a child, his family raised him to be disciplined and strong. This seemed to suit him, and set his attitude towards earthbending. At the tender young age of five, he was able to show a display of his bending. His family were old school and didn't approve of the Earth Republic. They personally wanted the monarchy to resume.
As that was the way of thought they imparted onto their son, he grew up respecting order and reason. Throughout school, he had a reputation as a tattle-tale – he would say whatever to whoever to get anyone in trouble. However, he started to get a little extreme in his ideals. He would fabricate situations just to get people into trouble – but provided they had done something wrong.
When he was 14, his parents started to being to try to organise rebellion against the government. Mitsurugi was torn. Everything inside him wanted to protect his parents, but they were messing with the order of the system. He sold them out, and they were arrested for treason. Orphaned, he was adopted by a policeman.
While this seemed like perfect for him, it didn't work well. The policeman had taken his job as a means of helping people, and believed rehabilitation more important than punishment. Mitsurugi accused him of being infective in his methods, and was gently told otherwise. Eventually, the relationship got so strained that Mitsurugi decided he would have to leave.
He moved to Republic City as a result of the conflict. When looking for a way out, he went to the train station, saw the flier, and left. He told his adoptive parent, who said that he couldn't stop him, and gave him his blessing, along with enough yuans to get by until he found work.

- Earth Bomb
The user can send a small boulder flying in any direction once struck which breaks apart into many smaller projectiles when it hits something.
- Earth Smash
The user is able to crush or even shatter anything made of stone without any force required.
- Earth Shield
The user is able to create a small wall made of stone which can be used to defend or obstruct a path.
- Earth Levitation (Passive)
The user is able to cause earth to levitate allowing them to use any earth they control as a moderate defense or even to allow time to prepare an attack.
- Compression Control (Passive)
The user is able to compress earth into a much denser state allowing them to harden soil or stone for stronger offense or defense. The user must take time to compress the earth.

- Earth Shelter
The user is able to pull together many stones around them in order to form a makeshift shelter as a defense around them or something else. They can also use it to encase an enemy. (Achieved after 1 week)
- Earth Column
The user is able to force sharp columns of stone out of the ground that can be used to cut or even stab others as well as obstruct paths. (Achieved after 2 weeks)

- Earth Launch
The user is able to create jets of stone out of the ground which can be used to launch things into the air as well as a sort of spring to soften falls from high distances.
- Earthquake
The user is able to strike the ground and create large tremors which can disorient or even topple others in a large area around them. The user is unable to differentiate friend from foe with this power.
- Remote Earthbending (Passive; Exclusive to Rock Breaker)
The user is able to earthbend without touching the earth they are bending.
- Avalanche (Exclusive to Rock Breaker)
The user can tear several large chunks of earth straight out of the ground and command them to float into the air before raining down around them. The user can ensure that themselves and nearby allies aren't harmed in the attack, but they are unable to move while using this power as it takes heavy concentration.
