Jugo and Karin were a young married couple who recently arrived to Republic City. At first their lives were amazing, but due to unforeseen pregnancy. They had to make some sacrifices, both being no older than 23. The two weren’t ready for parenthood. They named their firstborn son Titos. Jugo worked hard at a local factory to support their child. Sometimes the two struggled to make ends meet, but they had eachother.
A few years later, Titos was 5 and he even had a 2 year old brother named Kairo. Jugo and Karin’s marriage began to falter when she suspected him of cheating on her. She tried to get him to admit to it, but he just wouldn’t and there was no evidence. Bills began piling up and the family was in debt again. Jugo kept disappearing and Karin began getting immensely stressed out. It even got to the point where Karin started beating Titos. Too young to try and do anything.
Next year it only got worse, Titos began to live in terrible fear of his mother. Their father having long since abandoned them. But one day when Karin tried to torment Kairo, Titos’ firebending made itself known. He fired a powerful stream of flame which led to his mother’s demise.
Kairo being 3 at the time would never retain these memories, only Titos had the burden. When the police arrived, he claimed they were robbed. The cops present weren’t that bright, so they believed his story and were given up to a local orphanage. But Titos wasn’t willing to trust anyone. If his mother repeatedly beat him and his father just abandoned him, he couldn’t place his faith into more adults. He had to protect Kairo, he wouldn’t trust anyone else to do so.
The brothers spend about 5 years there, so Titos was 11 and Kairo was 8. When he discovered his airbending, the workers attempted to give Kairo up to the nomads at Air Temple Island. But he violently refused and Titos wouldn’t stand for it either. Kairo denied any offer to live at the Temple unless Titos could come. But they only wanted airbending orphans of course. So they remained there and even with their meager conditions. They were happy just to have each other.
Over the next 3 years, the boys rejected any offer to get adopted unless the other could come. Every time a possible parent interviewed them, they’re first question was “Can my brother come?” None of them were interested in getting two boys, so they stayed at the orphanage. Kairo began to bond with Mr.Tamaguchi. One of the workers there, seemed to act a father to him. Titos didn’t like it one bit. Unfortunately he ended up molesting Kairo when Titos was out helping with groceries.
When Titos returned, Kairo was mortified. But his young psyche suppressed the painful memory. So all he could do was comfort him. The next few weeks, Titos noticed Kairo was terrified of Mr. Tamaguchi. Even lacking the memory of the accident, he still associated strong feelings of fear and terror with him. It sadly occurs with many children who suffered like Kairo, Titos had decided to silently pursue his brother, thinking something was fishy. When the sick man attempted to violate Kairo once more, Titos used his firebending to brutally murder him. It was terrifying, relentless screams and the smell of burning flesh. Kairo was in horror to see his brother wield such rage, so he subconsciously suppressed this memory as well.
At the tender ages of 14 and 11, the brothers ran away and began to live on the streets. Whenever Kairo asked why they couldn’t live at the orphanage, Titos just said they were secretly mean people and that they were better off. He had lost any sort of trust in any adult, his lack of trust for others and protective nature of Kairo only grew. They began stealing to survive, Kairo found out he was quite the talented pick pocket.
They began taking random jobs to get by, growing up like that Kairo learned a few things. Life should be enjoyed, even they’re terrible situation he always tried to keep a happy demeanor. He enjoyed rule breaking, so Titos was really the only person he listened to. He was a free spirit with a big heart.
Eventually they managed to get a small apartment on Kairo’s 16th birthday. It was small, all they could afford. But Kairo was excited and incredibly grateful. A few months after, Titos managed to become a cop. Working hard to provide for his little brother. Kairo on the other hand struggles to keep a job.

Initial Powers[]
- Fire Arcs
The user's punches and kicks will automatically create small arcs of fire from them as they strike that spills forward in the direction of the attack.
- Fireball
The user is able to shoot small blasts of fire in rapid succession toward something.
- Fire Whip
The user is able to create a belt of flames which they can use to strike and burn with.
- Heat Control (Passive)
The user is able to increase the heat of the air, objects and liquids.
- Fire Blocking (Passive)
The user is able to, if timed correctly, break away or deflect other fire attacks.
Basic Powers[]
(Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed.)
- Jet Propulsion (Passive)
The user is able to create intense bursts of flames from their hands and feet which can be used to propel them through the air for a short time. (Achieved after 1 week)
- Fire Disks
The user is able to create small disks that can be used as quick moving projectiles. (Achieved after 2 weeks)

- Fire Blades
The user is able to create thin blades of fire from their melee attacks which are capable of cutting objects as well as burn them. While performing this technique, the user cannot use any other form of firebending techniques.
- Fire Bomb
The user sends forth a massive fireball which explodes into a torrent of flames upon contact. The user must take time to build up this attack and is vulnerable while doing so.
- Enhanced Fire (Passive; Exclusive; Color Choice)
The user's flames become enhanced and burn much hotter than normal. The user is able to change the color of their flames as they wish (excluding black flames) and can simultaneously use two different colors.
- Flame Missiles (Exclusive to Sun Warrior)
The user can launch a stream of fire which they can guide towards the target, allowing them to target more agile opponents. The user is immobile while using this power.
Advanced Powers[]
(Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed. Also, Master level powers can only be achieved after 7 months and require 2 open power slots.)
- Pressure Control (Passive)
The user is able to pressurize their flames in order to make them semi-dense and have a sort of tangible force when they strike something. (Achieved after 2 months)
- Lightningbending (Passive; requires 2 open slots)
The user is able to focus their fire so effectively that it can become lightning. The lightning is far quicker and more unstable than fire and cannot be blocked or redirected by any means other than another person who can Lightningbend redirecting it. Creating lightning takes a huge toll on the user and if used more than a few times without a large break it will likely backfire on the user and injure them. (Achieved after 7 months)
