Hayato is known for his dapper attire, wearing his signature white suit, bowtie and top hat. He's reasonably tall, even without his hat, and sports a neatly trimmed handlebar moustache with curly dark brown hair.
Hayato is somewhat laid back in most situations, taking life as it unfolds without too much worry. That said, after years of travelling around mostly by himself, Hayato has developed a confident and brave personality. Hayato is incredibly intelligent, having spent years of his life travelling and learning. He is not quick to rush into situation, preferring instead to step back and think things through. However, he is hardly a pacifist, usually intervening in fights and conflicts to break them up, but will defend himself as needed. While typically a nice person, Hayato is tremendously blunt and has a sarcastic streak, verbally ripping into people who annoy him. Hayato also likes to enjoy the small things in life, preferring to take his time.
Born to Minato and Daichi Kuzuki in Fire Nation who ran a family-own publishing company, Hayato grew up surrounded by books, reading volumes about world history, philosophy and science. Curiously, at around the age of five, Hayato demonstrated a potential for airbending, baffling his parents of which neither were airbenders. Eventually it was deduced that Hayato had inherited his abilities from father's side, whose parents were originally airbending immigrants to the Fire Nation.
In his early years Hayato was usually obsessed with books, regardless if they were textbooks, maps, or novels. He enjoyed reading them frequently and often dreamed of being the valiant hero in his stories, rescuing helpless civilians from impending danger. As he grew up, Hayato's dreams showed no sign of having lost their appeal and at school he would often step in to protect other children being picked on. He became a skilled writer and historian himself and wrote several books about various important figures and events. Eventually Hayato grew bored of the Fire Nation and started travelling, writing a guide as he journeyed between the lands, eventually finding himself at Republic City with a chance to become the hero he dreamed of.
The user sends a burst of air out in the shape of a ball in front of them which can be used offensively or defensively.
The user creates a funnel of air in front of them that redirects attacks around them.
The user sends a sharp jet of air out in the shape of a crescent which can be used to cut things.
The user is naturally more agile than a normal human.
The user can glide across the air for a short period of time; this can be sustained for a medium amount of time by using a glider.

The user can attach a burst of wind to any physical attack with their arms or legs for added force. (Achieved after 1 week)
The user can create a vacuum of air which pulls things toward them. (Achieved after 2 weeks)
Wind Fighter(Achieved after 1 month)
The user can build up massive momentum while running which can then be focused into a powerful concussive blast. The user becomes disoriented for a short time after using this power.
The user is able to redirect air flow around them, removing air resistance and generating a wind current behind them, thus greatly increasing their running speed. (50-60 mph). The user cannot use the power to enhance the speed of their flight/gliding or jumping and they're vulnerable to fatigue and high-speed collision while running at these new speeds.
The user can focus the air to a fine blade which can be used as a melee or projectile weapon for a short time. While wielding these blades, the user cannot use any other airbending techniques from their hands.
The user can produce a gust of air to launch enemies upwards, followed by a downwards air current to slam them into the ground with increased force. The user becomes disoriented for a short time after using this power and they cannot use it from long distances.
(Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed. Also, Master level powers can only be achieved after 7 months and require 2 open power slots.)
The user can create a large dome of air around them which can be used to protect them and even others from harm and the barrier also redirects all solid projectiles around the barrier. The user is unable to take any other action while maintaining the barrier. (Achieved after 2 months)
The user is able to create and control sound waves by manipulating the air. With this power, they are able to create, distort or even remove sound within a large area around them. They are also able to send sonic bursts which can disorient or even cause pain to others; however, over use of these sonic bursts will cause the same effects on the user. NOTE: This power is illegal to use. (Achieved after 7 months)
