Kamik’s defining trait is his sense of justice, if he sees something lawfully wrong happen then he will take it upon himself to stop it. His dry sense of humor is what people usually notice first about him however, even when fighting he teases, insults and tries to humiliate those around him. He does exert a great amount of self-control over himself in situations he can’t either talk or fight his way out of. His upbringing as a Wastelander has made him see things as necessity over what is right, his dislike for unlawful behaviour is the main reason he left the South Pole. His callous, uncaring way of treating other people if he thinks they have done wrong is his way of hiding the fact that as a Wastelander he had to resort to pirating to survive and has, himself, killed at least a dozen men during his time aboard a raiding ship. He is very kind to those who cannot help themselves, during his time as a raider he gave the greater part of his plunder to the orphaned children of the men who died during raids.
Kamik was born to waterbender parents who were gifted with strong healing abilities, as such they were not forced onto the raiding crews and were instead made to heal injured returning raiders.
Kamik himself was unable to bend in his early years and was assumed a non-bender and instructed on basic hand-to-hand combat, deemed useless as a proper raider and sent to a raiding ship at the age of 7.
A near-death experience on a raid when he was 9 was what caused his bending to manifest itself and as such he is not as skilled as others who have had bending their whole lives. The raiding incident is what caused him to begin avoiding unlawful practices and this adverse attitude lead to his eventual law-upholding nature.
When he was 17 his parents were killed by a group of Wastelanders as they thought that they were not healing raiders properly, thus reducing the numbers of Wastelander who were fit to conduct raids. Kamik’s was unable to manifest the healing abilities of his parents and was forced to conduct more raids than was thought safe for any one individual. His treatment on the part of the other raiders after his parent’s deaths was what spurned him to take care of the young orphans of the tribe.
During his 18th year Kamik was a party to a large killing during a raid on a Earth Republic fishing village. This raid forced him to realise that he was walking a path opposite to his morals and as such he began saving his money in order to leave his Wastelander brethren before they corrupted him with their, what he considered, evil. it was then that he heard of the Republic City Citizenship Program from a captured Fire Nation ship captain and decided that, if he could get in, he would try to join the Republic City Police and help as many people as he was able to.
During the journey to a port that would accept his money and take him to Republic City he was almost killed many times, by Wastelanders who thought him a traitor to his people and various others who felt that wastelander, no matter how well-meaning were deserving of being exterminated like rats.
The user can create a whip of water to quickly strike at something.
The user can create a jet of water that can be used to push back or even topple others.
The user can create a small wave from a nearby source of water that can be used to crash down on something.
The user can alter the temperature of water, allowing them to cause it to boil or even freeze.
The user can alter the pressure of water, allowing them to use it to grab or strike things.

The user can create a pressurized blade of water that can be used as a melee weapon. While wielding these blades, the user cannot use any other waterbending techniques from their hands. (Achieved after 1 week)
The user rapidly sends a flurry of small water beads which can be used to pummel something in quick succession. (Achieved after 2 weeks)
Flood Sender(Achieved after 1 month)
The user can create a whirlpool which pools all within its reach inwards. Requires a body of water.
The user can create a spout of water which can be used to lift them or others up off the ground. Requires a body of water.
The user is able to condensate water from the air, giving them a access to a body of water anywhere.
The user fires a high pressure jet of water, while thinner than other waterbending techniques, the stream is strong enough to cut through weaker armour plating and even people. The technique's power drastically drops at longer ranges, making it only effective in close quarters.
(Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed. Also, Master level powers can only be achieved after 7 months and require 2 open power slots.)
The user is able to waterbend without using arm motions while bending. (Achieved after 2 months)
The user is able to bend the water in another person's body, allowing them limited control over that person. The user may only control one person at a time and cannot move while controlling them, leaving them vulnerable. Also, understanding of bloodbending has given people basic knowledge of how to fight its influence, limiting the control of a user. NOTE: This power is illegal to use. (Achieved after 7 months)
