Personality Kaori is seemingly self-centered and egotistical, she however does show glimpses of vulnerability. She has a personality disorder in which she acts in a very emotional and dramatic way that draws attention to herself. Kaori wants to be the center of attention in any social situation, and she is perceived as being uncomfortable when she isn't. While Kaori is often interesting and lively, she has much difficulty when people around her aren't focused exclusively on her. She is also perceived as being shallow and often engages in provocative behavior and mannerisms to get attention of others.
History Kaori grew up in Republic City's elite social class society and an unstable enviornment. Her father was a wealthy entrepreneur and engineer who engaged in multiple affairs to appease his personal pleasures. Her mother was a renown artist who had a drinking disorder and was sent to rehabilitation shortly. They both had a silent agreement that if they gave Kaori whatever she wanted or desired, she wouldn't notice the problems and defections that occurred around her, however, she did. Kaori learned to firebend before she was shipped off to the Fire Nation to stay with her aunt while her mother was in rehabilitation. At an early age (9-14), however, she was sent off to the Fire Royal Academy for Exceptional Young Girls in the Fire Nation to study abroad and she soon evolved as a prominent member in her class that knew how to manipulate and control everyone around her with her beauty and popularity. When Kaori moved back to Republic City with her parents, they sheltered and spoiled her to the core. Kaori wasn't satisfied and often sneaked out of her estate to hang out with her devious friends or devious boys who found her attractive. She spent much of her time getting drunk or smoking opium at parties that dragged on all night long. This ultimately backfires on her. When Kaori turned seventeen, she and a select group of her personal friends were invited to a nightclub party. Unbeknownst to her, she gets heavily intoxicated and becomes impaired as a result. A group of men gang raped her in a shoddy dark room in the nightclub and took away her virginity that night. While her friends question her the following morning what had happened, she lied and snapped that she was fine and was over the whole situation. Later that day, she sat in her tub crying the entire time. Kaori later asked her parents to hire her the best firebending master there was so that she could learn to hone in on the art. Her parents hired not one, but two firebending teaches to instruct Kaori. One practiced traditional firebending and the other practiced a more modern, contemporary form of firebending. Kaori proved to be efficient in the art and picked up on it quickly. As Kaori turned twenty-one, she moved out of her parent's estate in the mountains and moved to an apartment complex near the city. She pursued a career of acting and was victorious. She landed many roles and became the face of Republic City. She worked in many theaters and guess-stared on television screens across the nation.
Powers Fire Infantry Initial Powers Fire Arcs The user's punches and kicks will automatically create small arcs of fire from them as they strike that spills forward in the direction of the attack. Fireball The user is able to shoot small blasts of fire in rapid succession toward something. Fire Whip The user is able to create a belt of flames which they can use to strike and burn with. Heat Control (Passive) The user is able to increase the heat of the air, objects and liquids. Fire Blocking (Passive) The user is able to, if timed correctly, break away or deflect other fire attacks. Basic Powers (Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed.) Fire Stream The user is able to create a large semi-dense stream of fire in a given direction from a physical attack that can strike and even topple something hit by it. (Achieved after 1 week) Jet Propulsion (Passive) The user is able to create intense bursts of flames from their hands and feet which can be used to propel them through the air for a short time. (Achieved after 2 weeks) Sun Warrior (Achieved after 1 month) Initial Powers Fire Blades The user is able to create thin blades of fire from their melee attacks which are capable of cutting objects as well as burn them. While performing this technique, the user cannot use any other form of firebending techniques. Fire Bomb The user sends forth a massive fireball which explodes into a torrent of flames upon contact. The user must take time to build up this attack and is vulnerable while doing so. Enhanced Fire (Passive; Exclusive; Color Choice) The user's flames become enhanced and burn much hotter than normal. The user is able to change the color of their flames as they wish (excluding black flames) and can simultaneously use two different colors. Flame Missiles (Exclusive to Sun Warrior) The user can launch a stream of fire which they can guide towards the target, allowing them to target more agile opponents. The user is immobile while using this power. Advanced Powers (Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed. Also, Master level powers can only be achieved after 7 months and require 2 open power slots.) Fire Charging (Passive) The user is able to charge up any of their flames which causes them to burn stronger and more intensely for a short time as well as having considerable more force behind them. (Achieved after 2 months) Pressure Control (Passive) The user is able to pressurize their flames in order to make them semi-dense and have a sort of tangible force when they strike something. (Achieved after 4 months) Not yet achieved (Achieved after 6 months)
