OOC Plans: Kimiko's alliance has shifted from the weaklings of Faceless to the masterminds of the Jade Dragon. Serving as one of the group's lieutenants, she will help orchestrate the chaos in the city to her benefit. The plans for Kimiko to take Kaneki as a prisoner are going ahead, which means I get to run a few lovely rps with Glar where Kimi emotionally manipulates Kaneki (hopefully). Also, Kimiko's cousin has moved to the city, which would have spelled disaster for her if it weren't for the convenient fact that her cousin is just as evil as she is (in theory - Miyabi has yet to take any prisoners). As well as being evil, Miyabi is also a member of the Jade Dragon (fun family times ahead).


Appearance

Kimiko stands at 5'9 with glossy, white hair that cascades down her back. She has beautiful posture and always walks with her head held high. She often wears robes in traditional fire nation colours of red, black and yellow as a nod to her noble status. She has quite a pretty face, but she prefers hiding her looks from others. (NB. She does NOT have a dragon tattoo. Yet.)



Personality

Kimiko often sees herself as better than others, but never voices her opinions on that matter, being taught that everyone is equal and deserves equal respect. She’s well-spoken and loves her status as a noble, though she doesn't really like when people treat her as such unless she's called for it. In that way, she's very fickle. Kimiko is manipulative and is so in a subtle manner, as she would never voice her intentions straight up. Though she enjoys having her work done by other people, she is perfectly capable of doing things herself and will if she sees fit. Interestingly enough, Kimiko prefers not to use her bending as she sees it as showing off, though if needed, or if she is feeling particularly self-indulgent, she will create luminous displays of blood-red fire.



History

Kimiko was born a noble’s daughter, though neither of her parents were benders, she had picked up the trait from a distant family relation. She was raised in her parent’s manor, a fenced off area with all the luxuries of the world, it seemed. Her father and mother taught her respect and discipline, and how to treat others with the amount of respect they gave her. At the age of 8, upon learning she was a bender, Kimiko’s father enlisted the help of a bending tutor, to train her in the art of firebending.

The training continued until she was sixteen, by which time her mother had passed on. Kimiko had never been too attached to either of her parents, but her mother’s death had hurt her more than expected and she held bitterness inside of her soul because of that. After the death, her father tried to become closer to Kimiko, trying to fill the void which his wife had left. Kimiko hated how he smothered her, and would stay out of the manor for days, roaming the streets to get an understanding of the city.

It was while she was roaming the streets that she heard whispers of a “Republic City”. After returning home and confronting her father about it, he forbid her to ever leave him, and kept Kimiko guarded in the manor for the next four years. One night shortly after her twentieth birthday, Kimiko lashed out at her guards, burning them and fleeing the manor.

Shortly afterwards she took the journey to Republic City, hoping for a new life, one she could forge herself.

Fire Infantry
Initial Powers
  • Fire Arcs

The user's punches and kicks will automatically create small arcs of fire from them as they strike that spills forward in the direction of the attack.

  • Fireball

The user is able to shoot small blasts of fire in rapid succession toward something.

  • Fire Whip

The user is able to create a belt of flames which they can use to strike and burn with.

  • Heat Control (Passive)

The user is able to increase the heat of the air, objects and liquids.

  • Fire Blocking (Passive)

The user is able to, if timed correctly, break away or deflect other fire attacks.

Basic Powers

(Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed.)

  • Fire Disks

The user is able to create small disks that can be used as quick moving projectiles. (Achieved after 1 week)

  • Jet Propulsion (Passive)

The user is able to create intense bursts of flames from their hands and feet which can be used to propel them through the air for a short time. (Achieved after 2 weeks)

Initial Powers
  • Fire Blades

The user is able to create thin blades of fire from their melee attacks which are capable of cutting objects as well as burn them. While performing this technique, the user cannot use any other form of firebending techniques.

  • Fire Bomb

The user sends forth a massive fireball which explodes into a torrent of flames upon contact. The user must take time to build up this attack and is vulnerable while doing so.

  • Enhanced Fire (Passive; Exclusive; Color Choice)

The user's flames become enhanced and burn much hotter than normal. The user is able to change the color of their flames as they wish (excluding black flames) and can simultaneously use two different colors.

  • Flame Missiles (Exclusive to Sun Warrior)

The user can launch a stream of fire which they can guide towards the target, allowing them to target more agile opponents. The user is immobile while using this power.


Advanced Powers

(Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed. Also, Master level powers can only be achieved after 7 months and require 2 open power slots.)

  • Heat Resistance (Passive)

The user gains a partial resistance to normal flames from other people (excluding Enhanced Fire, Fire Breath and Wall of Flames) and natural sources as well as a near complete immunity to their own flames. (Achieved after 2 months)

  • Combustion (Passive; requires 2 open slots)

The user is able to send a burst of thermal energy in a general direction. At any point during its motion, the user may ignite it via the trail left behind in its wake. If it is not ignited, nothing will happen, therefor the user may disengage the use of this power at any time. This power requires a high level of focus while using it and forces the user to remain standing until detonation occurs. It is also possible for someone else to ignite the thermal energy trail left in the wake and send it rippling back toward the user. NOTE: This power is illegal to use. (Achieved after 7 months)
