Bender type: Firebender
She believes deeply that it's important to give, and karma will always give back. Raised upon that believe, Kim is kind hearted, easily pleased, patient, and understanding. When faced with a decision, she tends to always pick the one that will put other people over her. It's almost impossible to piss her off the the point where she won't speak to you anymore, but Kim still tends to have that fiery personality that comes with her abilities. When she wants to be, she can be a bit of a smart ass, even a little mean, but mostly, all she wants to do is help and entertain people.
Kim loves the arts. She loves dancing, drawing, singing, and anything entertainment-related. Not only for herself, because she wouldn't be who she is without it, but for other people as well. As stressful as that can be sometimes, she's a determined woman, so nothing will get in the way of Kim's love for the arts.
Kimuri's family line was quickly brought into a life of festivities and good fortune when Jumi's sister, and partner, Asako, had caught the eye of a fire nation noble. Married within a year, Asako's family had brought public eyes on all of them, and it severely impacted Jumi's performances, in the best way possible. Her profits skyrocketed, and thus, Jumi was happier than ever.
Eventually, she had to meet someone. And she did. A man named Kazi, who worked as a businessman, trading routes in places like the fire nation, to Ba Sing Se, to Republic CIty. Jumi didn't much care about him, personally, but he served his purpose. Not long after Asako's last, Kokeshi, was born before the two had ended their breeding and focused on raising their children, Jum had fallen pregnant and ended up with a child. While Jumi was extremely happy with the way her life was going, her little girl, who she and her husband named Kimuri, was a blessing in itself.
Unfortunately, her birth also ended Jumi's career- Which was fine. She had made plenty of money and married rich. Her life was as good as it was ever gonna get. They tried raising Kimuri to be a businesswoman as she got older, sending her to very prestigious schools, all the way in the Water tribe. Kimuri, while she had no problem with school and academics, she didn't enjoy it very much. Kimuri used to watch her mother in old musical movers. She'd even still perform, and Kimuri adored it. She used to love the way the fire mixed in with the dancing, and how she used the flames to her advantage. Kimuri used to follow her mom's movements sometimes, and one day when she was seven, she accidentally added flames to her performance, which her mother soon explained. Since then, she wanted to become a firedancer.
But when she turned 16, she was sent off to business school. Kimuri dealt with it, but soon she grew bored, and determined to leave her life of accounting and managing. She hated it. Kimuri asked her parents many times if she could leave and pursue her dream of dancing, but after yet another denial, she decided to take it into her own hands. She applied for citizenship in Republic City. Once her parents found out, they disowned her. Now, Kimuri performs for money, and sells her drawings, all in order to make end's meet.
