a mindless puppet, my strings are torn.
the creaky bones, the bad eyesight,
yet the chance to turn wrong to right.
wars-a-waging, old mans guilt,
the worlds now on more then just a tilt.
parents weeping, children slain,
bloody thoughts, fear will reign.
I look in the shadows, a creature did lurk,
he whispered to me, hiding a smirk.
"Thou shalt be killed if thee can't find,
the demon lurking in thou mind."
So off I ventured, to quench my thirst,
of corpses piled with hearts-a-burst.
And on that quest what did I see?
Kira, unlike Kazumi's bright red hair, is stark contrast with her dark black hair and deep purple eyes. While her sister was always more reserved with her outfits, Kira likes to keep things simple and formal. She is nearly average weight for her height of 5'5 and can be described as a silent beauty who holds herself with composure. Her model is Akemi Homura.
Kira, like her sister in many aspects, takes mostly after her father in the sense of a temper and determination that would drive any normal person mad. Unlike her sister, however, she doesn't do charity, nor overly care about the residents of Republic City. She prides herself in escaping and making a life for herself elsewhere, where she wasn't near the constant ridicule the Oshiro family, as one of the oldest family's in Republic City, was constantly bombareded with.
However, Kira is wise and shy, with a knack for sitting back and watching to gather information rather than conflict, which she tends to completely avoid. She is much like a leader, just like Kazumi had been once but refuses to believe in herself enough to get anywhere. She is highly insecure and believes the only reason she has any holding left in Republic City is because of her surname and what power it once held.
She is much like a ghost in the concept of power - a lick of what it had once been before their lingeage of being councilors halted after Kazumi. She had refused to take the seat and would have fought tooth and nail to give it to anyone else. Thankfully, Republic City did not require the next in line to become the new councilor.
The Oshiro family had once been a well established, deep rooted family in Republic City but their reign ended the day that Kazumi Oshiro, the heir to their family fortune was assassinated. Everything was kept essentially quiet to the only other living daughter, Kira.
Kira had been born nearly eight years apart from her older sister, Kazumi. She showed her abilities to bend water like her mother when she was five years old. Her older sister was bred to be the spokesperson for the Oshiro family. Kazumi had duties that kept her in Republic City after their father had fallen ill and died. She eventually took her father's seat on the council and became the youngest member and a sparkling image of pride in her mother's eyes.
On the opposite spectrum, overcome with grief over her father's death, Kira fled from Republic City and travelled between the Nations for some sort of escape from the reality of her torn up family. She lived in the Earth Republic for some time before she discovered the news of her sister's murder.
Her mother, an already forsaken widow, fell ill with heartache and soon died after Kazumi passed, leaving Kira Oshiro left to collect the embers of their status and fortune and attempt to rebuild what the Oshiro family had once created in Republic City while trying to collection information and find out what exactly happened to her older sister.
