Arena Info

The Desert Arena is geared towards battles of scale rather than your usual probending forrays. Dry air is pumped into the arena and the number of water sources is limited to only a couple. This by no means disadvantages the waterbender however as these sources are both vast and close to the surface. Rather than earth disks, the entire arena is littered with rocks that range from small stones to large boulders. But earthbenders are not allowed to bend the entire boulders, only allowed to take pieces of them for attacks. The metal floor of the arena is covered by a thick layer of powdered glass to simulate sand. All participants are required to wear full body coverings as well in keeping with the desert theme.

Dice Roll Room

With these rooms, dice rolls can be performed by participants. Be warned that these rooms contain logs, cheat and I will know. Simply put #d5 and you'll perform a roll. Links can be found in the comments section. .


Match

VS

The coin toss was shown in favor of Atsuki/Void. He may take the first post or pass it off to Kojima/Alex in the area below.

Atsuki: He walks into the area with a white jacket and scarf to cover his mouth from the sand. He stands there and look at his opponent, thinking how to this finish as efficient as possible. He then sends an air swipe towards his opponent.

Roll Outcome: 1, Direct hit

Kojima: Wearing the garbs of a sandbender, Kojima is forced back several meters by the air swipe and is forced to crouch as it passes. After it's gone, he drives his feet into the ground to keep himself from being knocked over again by similar attacks. He puts his hands into the sand and built up earth on them, creating hardened sand to use for rock gloves. Kojima launches one of the rock gloves at the airbender.

Roll Outcome: 4, Block

Atsuki: As the gloves are coming at him, he quickly raise up an air shield to block the gloves. While the damage is minimal, the gloves push him back a fair amount from his opponent. Atsuki brushes himself off the sand that is on his body. He then dashes forward and sends a sharp air swipe at the earthbender.

Roll Outcome: 2, Glancing Blow

Kojima: He staggers back as part of the air swipe hits him, though it seems much of it missed. Kojima hardens three blocks of sand about the size of a brick each and sends them at the approaching airbender after the air swipe.

Roll Outcome: 3, Miss/dodge

Atsuki: As Kojima attacks, he quickly dashes forward and quickly dodges the brick using some airbending assisted acrobatics. As he reaches medium range, he tries sending an air sweep at Kojima's stomach.

Roll Outcome: 4,Block

Kojima: The earthbender quickly brought up a decently-sized stone from nearby and set it in front of him, blocking most of the air swipe, and then, with a movement of his arms, sent the stone flying at the approaching airbender.

Roll Outcome: 2, Glancing Blow

Atsuki: Still with the aggression, he moves forward and tries to dodge the stones but some of it scratch his arms and legs. Not hindered by the minimal damage, he gets into close range and tries to give the earthbender a wind breath to his stomach.

Roll Outcome: 3, Miss/Dodge

Kojima: Surprised by the airbender's tenacity, Kojima manages to barely dodge the wind that the guy sent at him. He then launched his remaining rock glove at the man's head.

Roll Outcome: 3, Miss/dodge

Atsuki: As the rock glove is coming at him, he quickly dodge it by dashing to his right. He then crouches down and with a fast swept motion using his leg, he sends out an air sweep at his opponent's legs.

Roll Outcome: 4, Block

Kojima: The earthbender quickly brought up a small wall of rock between him and the airbender, blocking the air sweep. With some hand motions he then sent the wall moving forward at the airbender.

Roll Outcome: 3, Miss/dodge

Atsuki: Atsuki quickly leaps over the wall of rock, closing the distance between him and his opponents. He then let out the full force of the wind breath from his mouth and target it at the earthbender's chest

Roll Outcome: 1,Direct hit

Kojima: Thrown back by the force of the air, he tries to keep his head from hitting the ground as he falls, and then attempts to fling a nearby rock at the airbender.

Roll Outcome: 3, Miss/dodge

Atsuki: Knowing that his opponent cannot fight back at this state. He dashes towards the earthbender and send a powerfull air blast at his opponent's stomach, trying to end the fight.

Roll Outcome: 1,Direct hit

Kojima: The earthbender's body is shoved along the sand by the air blast, and he attempts to throw up another stone at the airbender as he falls. Kojima tried to get up after bending the stone at his opponent.

Roll Outcome: 2, Glancing Blow

Atsuki: At this state, this is an easy victory for him so Atsuki doesn't even tries to dodge the stone that is thrown at him. Even when he is not trying to dodge it, the stone barely even scratches his face. He then sends out a wind breath at the pathetic earthbender.

Roll Outcome: 1,Direct hit

Kojima: Hit by wind once again, the earthbender ignores the pain and sends a block of hardened sand flying at the lucky airbender, then staggers as he tries to stand up amid the pain of having taken so many wind blasts.

Roll Outcome: 2, Glancing Blow

Atsuki: The harden sand was not a threat that Atsuki is concern off. It scrapes his leg and tear of a part of his pants. Although it is not that important but it annoys the heck out of him. Out of pure frustration, he sends out an air swipe to push the earthbender away.

Roll Outcome: 1, Direct hit

Kojima: Battered again by the airbender's wind attack, the earthbender attempts to send another rock flying at his opponent, but it misses its mark. He lies still on the ground, too tired to move.

Roll Outcome: 3, Miss/dodge

Atsuki: The rock that was thrown at him is no threat to Atsuki. He looks disappointed as the rock barely even comes close to hitting him and let down and a long sigh. Atsuki then strides towards the beaten down earthbender and create an air vortex to throw his opponent away

Roll Outcome: 1, Direct hit

Kojima: The earthbender is thrown by the air vortex and lies still after landing in the sand, unconscious.

Hydro: Geez...okay for starters all these posts are quite short and rather basic, nothing that well thought out. I feel like Alex didn't have a firm grasp on certain powers. He used sandbending to revert the sand in the arena to earth, when it's not real sand. Also dude, you didn't get the fact that air swipe is sharp and that earth gloves stops you from using other forms of bending. Like you used earth levitation when you still had an earth glove on. But you get credit for trying to be more descriptive early on and trying to use the arena to your advantage. Void I understand that english ain't your first language, but ya gotta try and work on this cuz your grammar is just off. And that part where "Atsuki didn't even bother dodging and just got super lucky" seemed a lil too convenient to me. So both of you have some stuff to work on, next time try getting creative with your powers and strategize y'know? Thanks for playing and I hope you both can improve.

Wind: I appreciate the pace that you guys fought with but I would actually recommend slowing down a little bit and putting a little more thought into each individual post. If your character is directly hit, there should be more description of the consequences of that hit. Include some description about your character's emotion throughout the fight. And above all, I'd recommend trying to tighten up the spelling and grammar a little bit. Good job guys.
