Her mother was an air nomad. Her father was just a guy she met during her troubles. Her mother died in child-birth out in the eastern air temple. She was named Liu, and wasreally unhealthy as a baby. Almost dead, actually. They took care of her, though, mostly as a charity case. That's what Liu saw it as, at least. She was raised there, so tiny as a kid that she was barely eating, and she was just as healthy as the others. She hated that. She wanted to run away since she was eight years of age- which, by that time, she'd known about her abilities for two years, and was training. But she hated every second of it. She felt like they were going easy on her, as if she wasn't capable of being just as strong. She proved them wrong by the time she was seventeen. Being one of the most powerful benders there, and the prettiest. The other kids hated her- even the adults hated her. She didn't want to leave anymore. She was happy, and respected, and proud there.

They sort of forced her to leave once she was twenty. She took a glider after some harsh words were spilled, somebody saying she should just leave because nobody liked her anyways. So she did. For all they know, she could be dead. She hopes they think that. Instead of just going around without a home for a while, Liu took passage to the Republic City from a colony not too far away. She managed to pay for it by selling some pricey things from the air temple.

Once she got carded, and examined, and was deemed acceptable to come into the city, she instantly started making an impression; She started her own clothing line. She began investing. She became popular and respected again. You would also think wealth and power would corrupt her even more. Surprisingly, though, it's made her nicer, as she's donated to plenty of places as well. She is part of a really executive group, the country club in the city. She loves it.


A rich snob; Literally. she's sassy, she's bright, she's beautiful, and she can be kind, but she chooses for people to see her as somebody not to mess with, because she'll strike you down faster than a snake. She's always there with her head up, in a beautiful dress, and she always looks down on people. She doesn't like to be messed with, either. Get on her bad side enough, she'll have enough money to have you dead before the day breaks. She'll help out once in a while, though. And boy, does she love throwing balls.

The user sends a burst of air out in the shape of a ball in front of them which can be used offensively or defensively.

  • Air Shield

The user creates a funnel of air in front of them that redirects attacks around them.

  • Air Swipe

The user sends a sharp jet of air out in the shape of a crescent which can be used to cut things.

  • Enhanced Agility (Passive)

The user is naturally more agile than a normal human.

  • Gliding (Passive)

The user can glide across the air for a short period of time; this can be sustained for a medium amount of time by using a glider.

  • Air Vortex

The user can create a large spiraling gust of air out all around them which is can be used to knock down or disorient others. The user is unable to move for a short time after using this power.

  • Wind Breath

The user can create a powerful torrent of wind from their mouth which can be directed and redirected with ease by using their lungs. The user is immobile while using this power.

  • Assisted Flight (Passive; Exclusive to Gust Walker)

The user is able to sustain partial flight for a short period of time by creating large gusts of wind and forcing them upon themselves; this can be sustained for a long amount of time by using a glider. However the large gusts are somewhat loud.

  • Air Bubble (Passive; Exclusive to Gust Walker)

The user can generate an air bubble around small objects, giving them a limited ability to remotely move objects at their discretion with reasonable precision. This power cannot be used on heavy or large objects, only two air bubbles can be sustained at a time, user is immobile while using this power.

Advanced Powers

  • Air Wake

The user can build up massive momentum while running which can then be focused into a powerful concussive blast in front of them upon stopping. The user becomes disoriented for a short time after using this power. (Achieved after 2 months)

  • Enhanced Speed (Passive)

The user is able to redirect air flow around them, removing air resistance and generating a wind current behind them, thus greatly increasing their running speed. (50-60 mph). The user cannot use the power to enhance the speed of their flight/gliding or jumping and they're vulnerable to fatigue and high-speed collision while running at these new speeds. (Achieved after 4 months)
