Character Name: Ngawang

Personality: Ngawang is very manipulative, deceitful and mild-mannered. He knows how to sweet talk his way out of any situation and can lie with the best of them. There is very little that is genuine about him.

History: Raised in the Southern Air Temple, Ngawang decided very early on that the life of a nomad was not for him and that he deserved much better. However, he had a great desire to master airbending and so he stuck around at the temple and put up with all the old codgers who were telling him what to do. The masters at the air temple saw great potential in him and tried to mold him in a positive way but their efforts were in vain. When he was christened in airbending master at age 16, he pretended to thank everyone at the temple but that very night he vandalized the entire place and then left on a stolen sky bison.

Ngawang attempted to fly the bison all the way to Republic City, but his plans hit a snag when the bison was injured mid-flight by a flock of angry birds was temporarily unable to fly. Impatient and ruthless, Ngawang sold the animal to a meat processing company and proceeded to get a job as a security guard at a school in Gaoling. After working there for a couple of years, Ngawang felt he was ready to journey to Republic City and make his fortune and so he bought an ostrich horse and made his way to the city.

Upon arriving in the city, Ngawang's charm led to him getting a job as a private caretaker for the elderly. Ever the patient planner, he would comfort and take care of countless elderly citizens while slowly robbing them of everything they possessed. As a result of his thefts, Ngawang went from living in a shabby motel to having his own penthouse apartment. The police have been extremely suspicious of this meteoric rise, but haven't been able to pin him with anything yet.

  • Air Blast

The user sends a burst of air out in the shape of a ball in front of them which can be used offensively or defensively.

  • Air Shield

The user creates a funnel of air in front of them that redirects attacks around them.

  • Air Swipe

The user sends a sharp jet of air out in the shape of a crescent which can be used to cut things.

  • Enhanced Agility (Passive)

The user is naturally more agile than a normal human.

  • Gliding (Passive)

The user can glide across the air for a short period of time; this can be sustained for a medium amount of time by using a glider.

The user can attach a burst of wind to any physical attack with their arms or legs for added force.|

The user can create a vacuum of air which pulls things toward them.

  • Air Wake

The user can build up massive momentum while running which can then be focused into a powerful concussive blast. The user becomes disoriented for a short time after using this power.

  • Enhanced Speed (Passive)

The user is able to redirect air flow around them, removing air resistance and generating a wind current behind them, thus greatly increasing their running speed. (50-60 mph). The user cannot use the power to enhance the speed of their flight/gliding or jumping and they're vulnerable to fatigue and high-speed collision while running at these new speeds.

  • Air Blades (Exclusive to Wind Fighter)

The user can focus the air to a fine blade which can be used as a melee or projectile weapon for a short time. While wielding these blades, the user cannot use any other airbending techniques from their hands.

  • Air Slam (Exclusive to Wind Fighter)

The user can produce a gust of air to launch enemies upwards, followed by a downwards air current to slam them into the ground with increased force. The user becomes disoriented for a short time after using this power and they cannot use it from long distances.

Advanced Powers

  • Enhanced Jumping (Passive)

The user is able to use gusts of air to jump about three times the height of a normal human (about 8-10 feet). (Achieved after 2 months)
