Bender type: Firebender
Qiang has thin charcoal black hair with falls straight three inches below her shoulders looking feathered, which sometimes she wears in a bun but normally keeps it loose. Her skin is slightly tanned, her arms showing light burn scars and her hands calloused from work. Her normal attire consists of a white sleeveless shirt with gold embroidery and a thin, button-up, maroon coat. She wears short black shorts and brown leather ankle boots. Her build is rather tall, standing at 5'9, and has a quite athletic shape, being around 141 pounds. (I swear I will make a drawing as soon as my brother gives me back my tablet)
Qiang is brash and foolish, doing things often on impulse and a need to satisfy her own desire. She lacks care for the Rebellion in Republic City, for as long as she got what she wanted, she did not care for anything. Often seen fooling around by setting items to flame, she has a bad name along the sullen markets of Republic City. Aside from that, she is shown to have some care for the general health and welfare of some certain others, and thinks things through while being agile and cautious when stirring up trouble. She is also noted to have an extreme love for any kind of bird, going as far as putting one back in its tree after it had fallen down while running away from angry street marketers.
Qiang grew up in a middle class family in the small, not-so-well-known town, Renxiu, located in the fire nation. She was known at school for being a silly class clown and getting good grades. In many of her early years, she was sexually confused and thought she was a boy from about one years of age to seven. (This was the result of being raised by a busy single man and a masculine environment, in which she would have her hair cut in a spiky and short way while always playing ball (or even flaming ball) with the boys next door.) Then when she began to attend school, her teachers told her that she was a girl, and tried to teach her how to be more proper and feminine, much to her rebellion. Her father was a high-ranking, busy engineer who would work long hours in the day from dawn to dusk. And at night, she would sneak into his office and steal his blueprints to read, gaining much knowledge on the subject. She was always a very late bloomer, and didn't begin to firebend when she was nine. But didn't like to use it much because it made her feel too fearsome among her non-bender friends.
As she grew, she noticed she didn’t have a mother just like other children. And so, out of immeasurable curiosity, she began to ask questions and research about anything she could possibly find about her mother. But nothing came up, almost as if her mother didn’t exist. One day, walking home from the library, a street marketer lured her to his stand, where he was selling pets of all kinds. The man claimed that he could speak to the animals, and they could decide their own owners, for animals can be much wiser than the foolish human. He offered her a parakeet-cat for fifty silver pieces, and she told him she would come back. The next day, she brought her father with her and they bought the parrot-cat, which the named “Suko,” who soon became Qiang’s best friend and companion.
Together, they continued research on Qiang’s mother. After one year with no avail, Suko suddenly flew off into the woods, causing Qiang to chase after it. While looking for Suko, a woman peeked out from behind a tree and whispered, “You are not going to find your mother here, you must look in Republic City.” Qiang went to press the woman, but the woman disappeared. That night, Qiang asked her father if she could move away to study abroad. Qiang, nineteen years of age, her father agreed, saying she is of age and it would be a delightful experience. And so, Qiang traveled to Republic City alone, with Suko, a couple of bags, and enough money to get her by.

- Fire Bomb
The user sends forth a massive fireball which explodes into a torrent of flames upon contact. The user must take time to build up this attack and is vulnerable while doing so.
The user is able to immolate something in a thin film of concentrated flames. Due to the concentration, the flames are highly resistant to being extinguished but also cannot be bent away from where they are once they are applied unless they are removed entirely.
- Wall of Flames (Exclusive to Ember Sentinel)
The user is able to envelope an area in a massive wall of dense flames in order to block attacks or obstruct a path. The user is unable to move while controlling these flames, however, they can redirect this wall willingly while controlling it.
- Flame Blast (Exclusive to Ember Sentinel)
The user can project a wide flame attack around them which can knock nearby enemies over.
(Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed. Also, Master level powers can only be achieved after 7 months and require 2 open power slots.)
