    • Sorry dude, but there is no discussion. Leaving was never an option except via death. I can't really stop you of course, but if you do stop posting, you'd be treated the same as everyone else who went inactive in posting and not receive any of the special rewards for participating.

    • Well, it's never stated anywhere (that I can find, please correct me if I'm wrong) that leaving wasn't an option. If it IS stated somewhere, I can edit my post, as I have no intention of breaking written rules. Although I still think Mae's nature as a character would have her leave, I'm of course responsible for reading and comprehending things I sign up for like anyone else.

As for the special rewards, I was never in this for them, but rather for the RPing experience and character development, so I don't mind if I get nothing for it.

    • Then feel free to leave I suppose. As I said, no one is supposed to, but I cannot stop you. It completely ruins the entire point of the entire Book 1 experience though, so I'd say regardless of what the char would do, OOC it's a really shitty thing to do. Literally deciding to abandon everyone right before the whole thing comes to fruition is terrible, especially because you've been pretty much carrying the group when it comes to strategy and what not. But as I said, no you're not supposed to leave, whether stated or not. I don't really think it needs to be stated, should be pretty damn obvious as it's a special event rp and not a normal rp. Though, as I said, go if you really want to do so; if you're willing to give up all of the special prizes, that's the only real incentive to go through with it to the end, besides the OOC aspect I mentioned.

    • If you really think her/my presence is necessary to maintaining the quality of the RP, we can discuss minor changes that would make her less likely to leave. At the end of the day, the main factor was the guy calling her an idiot. She's an educated person that grew up among nobility, so she takes her intellect pretty seriously, and is actually a fairly prideful person. The other aspects, like Tenshi not getting any help from anyone and her not wanting to work for the Syndicate, she could probably have seen past. I usually prefer to avoid meta-gaming, but if it's for the best of everyone, I don't mind.

    • Well, really the only people that had any investment in helping Tenshi already have. He's no an Employee, so the Syndicate people there have no reason to help him. And I really do think you need to be there, but whether you stay is up to you or not. If you're going to edit your post, do it by tomorrow because I'm going to be posting then. I need to get the RP moving.

    • Just a thought. Instead of just having her go to her tent and leave instantly, without letting anyone react. You could edit and just have her walk off to the tent, and actually rp accordingly, allowing reactions.

    • That seems reasonable. She did give an ultimatum though, so if the Syndicate's reactions aren't to her liking she may still leave. Edited accordingly.
