Personality

Yena is extremely calculating. She thinks before she acts, and she never gets too close to people, only her twin sister. She also has plenty of patience. While it helps her deal with her sister, it also helps her take care of certain... problematic people, without getting caught. She prides herself on this fact, and uses it to her advantage, along with her manipulation skills. As a bright girl, she never preferred to get her hands dirty, but does it when necessary.

She tends to seem a little apathetic on the surface. She's very human, though. She just sees it as a weakness. The only thing that would ever really hit her close to home is the mention of her parents death, or a threat to her sister's life. She gets angry sometimes if she gets emotional enough, and she has a teary sort of anger, mixed in with blood and violence. She is very emotional. She just hates showing it.



History

Yena and Yoona Talli were born two minutes apart, two minutes from midnight. The two beautiful healthy baby girls were a blessing to Yuri and Kinto, the two famously entrepreneurial business artists who got married in their late twenties, and lived in the Northern Water tribe, though they traveled too much to really notice. The two didn't love each other, but they adored the twins immensely. The bright blonde girl showed potential in logical arts, while the two-minute-younger brunette showed skills in brawn, rather than brain, though she was still brilliant.

The girls grew up never knowing what their family did- When they asked, they always got the part of the truth that wouldn't scar them for life. So, the girls went along with everything. By the time they were five, they were inseparable. Though neither had shown signs of bending at this point, those skills would show up later in Yoona, who'd have accidentally shot ice shards at the wall during a tantrum, but not yet in Yena, who didn't seem too bothered by it. In fact, she only loved her sister more, as it gave them a reason to rave over the possibility of them training together.

Unfortunately, Yena, by the deciding age of nine, had never shown signs of bending. While her sister was already training, she started whining about how lonely she was getting to her parents. Of course, instead of getting a polar dog, which she'd THOUGHT she'd have preferred, Yena got something better; A tutor in the arts of martial arts and swordsmanship.

Though this meant less time for the twins to spend together, it also meant less time spent at home. They'd walk home together. Which means, just before the girls turned fourteen years of age, they'd walk home to an empty house, and a letter on the kitchen table.

"Yena and Yoona, the dearest twins

I'm sorry to inform you of the death of your kin, Yuri Tilla, and Kinto Tilla. We hope you recover quickly.

Inside is a document stating your kin's will. They have named all their money to their daughters on their eighteenth birthday. They also named a paper to their daughters, which they would like unopened until the twins can open and read it.

Until of age, Yuri and Kinto Tilla would name their grand father, Niko Tilla, who will care for them until they turn eighteen years of age."

They read the note that was tucked underneath the other, the parent's will, and the note included. It would explain how they'd hope they wouldn't have to read this before they turn eighteen, "But in the unfortunate event of that possibly happening," they'd want the twins to know what they do

They would want the twins to know that they are, indeed, entrepreneurial. But not in the most legal way. While they held a large amount of investments to large amounts of companies, they also ran an illegal weapons trading company that they've managed to keep under wraps. Their grandfather, Niko, would train them to take care of the business together, and finally.... that they loved the twins immensely, and they were so proud.

In tears and grief, the twins would travel to their grandfather's place, which was luckily still in the Northern water tribe. They'd move in, and they would start taking lessons. Everything seemed to be going well for the first few years, until the seventeen year old twins were snooping around. They overheard their grandfather talking to a business partner, talking about how he was "Running out of time to kill the brats."

That night, the girls designed a plan that would cause Niko's death. They'd sneak a poison in his drink, after convincing him to let them travel to the Republic City on their own, for... business. After Niko had reluctantly agreed to send them, they'd leave within the next two hours before the poison took place.

Niko would be dead far long before they hit the lovely shores of Republic City. They'd be informed of his death there. Faking sadness and grief for the man, they had timed it perfectly to where they could collect their money the next day. So, they celebrated their eighteenth birthday richer than the chief of the Northern Water Tribe himself.

Luckily, they had retained the man's lessons. They knew how to run this business. In Republic City, they'd flourish, and they'd work, and for the next year, they'd be happy with themselves.j

The user is adept in basic martial arts, allowing them to stay on par with someone who has focused their training on bending.

The user has trained extensively with the use of classical weapons in order to make up for their deficit when it comes to taking on a bender.

  • Agility Training (Passive)

The user has received extensive training in their agility in order to increase their raw physical speed. They would easily exceed any person who relied on their bending.

  • Weight Training (Passive)

The user has received extensive training with weights and other forms of exercise in order to increase their raw physical strength. They would easily exceed any person who relied on their bending.

  • Endurance Training (Passive)

The user has received extensive training in physical endurance in order to increase the amount of physical energy they have at any given time. They would easily exceed any person who relied on their bending.

Basic Abilities

The user is knowledgeable in basic medical training using herbs and other medicines to treat minor injuries on themselves and others. (Achieved after 1 week)

  • Chain Hook (Passive)

The user is knowledgeable in making and using chain hooks. They can be used for transportation as well as combat. (Achieved after 2 weeks)

  • Smithing and Engineering (Passive)

The user is knowledgeable in crafting weapons, armors and even basic machinery made of metal and even basic composite materials. Metal is more durable but heavy and cumbersome while composites are lighter but more vulnerable.

  • Melee Weapon Mastery (Passive)

The user has extensively trained with all forms of melee weaponry in order to become a master in the usage of them. As such, the user may use any form of melee weapon to its fullest potential. (This includes things such as: swords, axes, maces, etc)

  • Platinum Forging (Passive; Exclusive to Weapon Master)

The user is knowledgeable in forging anything made of platinum. Items are highly resilient and are unable to be metalbent. Not only this, but they are stronger and sharper than regular metals; making them able to cut through, withstand impacts better or break things a normal weapon could not. Platinum weighs just as much as regular metal would. NOTE: Under no circumstances should a character have a weapon, armor or devices made out of platinum without this power.

  • Collapsible Shield (Exclusive to Weapon Master)

The user has the knowledge to construct and use collapsible shields attached to the forearms. While normally retracted, the shields extend outwards to provide more protection against incoming attacks. These shields can be made out of a variety of materials to augment their weight and strength.


Advanced Abilities

  • Precision Strikes (Passive)

The user has trained in order to achieve the ability to be as precise as possible in combat. This ranges from striking chi points to firing arrows from a bow. However, in focusing their training in this, the user has lessened the total power behind all of their attacks.  (Achieved after 2 months)
